Most vehicles are not equipped with an accurate water temperature gauge. Usually, they just have a "Cold-Hot"gauge, or worse--a dashboard warning light. Solution? A VDO water temp gauge.
When you monitor your VDO water temperature gauge regularly, it can alert you to problems such as a stuck thermostat, leaking hose, or other malfunctions that cause unusual temperature spikes. The VDO water temp gauge reads from 100 to 250 degrees F. and is backlit for nightime operation. Gauge is 2-1/16"diameter.

Requires the use of a temperature sending unit, sold separately. To determine what size sending unit you need, first locate your stock sending unit (usually found on the engine block or thermostat housing.) Measure the thread diameter and pitch, then contact a NEUSPEED sales representative for a part number and quotation.
